About The Berkshire Medical Practice

The Berkshire Medical Practice is a Private General Practice service located in the heart of Maidenhead in Berkshire. It serves the local community and the surrounding areas.

We are located in the first floor suite of the Symons Medical Centre close to Maidenhead Town Centre and have a separate waiting room and consulting room for our patients located on the first floor of the premises. 

 

We provide patient centred care at a time that is convenient for you with one of our 3 experienced GPs. Our three principal GPs have over 50 years’ worth of medical experience between them and are fully registered with the GMC.

Our Team

The Berkshire Medical Practice has 3 principal GPs. These are Dr Punater, Dr Rai, and Dr Mullineux

Our experienced NHS GPs that have formed a private practice specifically to provide a service for patients who would like a more versatile and flexible approach than can be offered by the traditional NHS GP.

 

The Berkshire Medical Practice and the NHS

The services that we provide are over and above the NHS care provided by your GP and we encourage you to stay registered with your NHS GP.   In addition to our roles at The Berkshire Medical Practice we are all practising NHS GPs and we understand the in-and-outs of NHS care.

We think that the NHS provides excellent care given the current constaints and pressures on the system.  However, these pressures can sometimes lead to reduced patient choice and inflexibility in terms of care.  Increasingly, many clinicians within the NHS feel that the NHS model of 10 minute appointments can sometimes lead to a pressurised environment that makes it harder to delivery quality care.  Working outside of these constraints allows us to offer a wider range of services and provide tailored, more bespoke care.  Please call to discuss your healthcare requirements with our team.
