Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is the medical name given to the disorder of excessive sweating, which is a common but potentially embarassing condition.  One of the commonest areas affected is the axilla (armpit).

Botulinum Toxin is licensed in the UK for treatment of this condition, and is an effective and well tested treatment that can last for up to 3 - 5 months following a single treatment course.  It works by reducing or blocking the activity of sweat glands resulting in reduced sweat expression.
